Shaun Jackson is an attending physician in Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Rheumatology at Seattle Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His research aims to improve our understanding of the immune pathogenesis of human autoimmune diseases, in particular the role of B cells in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Dr. Jackson received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He completed post-doctoral studies in vascular biology at Harvard Medical School and pediatric residency training at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jackson completed a dual pediatric nephrology and rheumatology Fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital / University of Washington.
